Join the Bruixes in their erotic lab to experiment with bodily fluids, electronics, biomaterials, second skins and e-textiles to create your own personalised kinky design.
We will play with new methods of manufacturing sensory surfaces for wearables and imagine how biotechnology and new materials will respond to erotic self-pleasures, opening a dialogue to reclaim society’s taboos and stigmas and explore sexuality through technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u00abOltrePelle<\/strong>\u00bb workshop is designed to explore the potential of algae and bacterial cellulose for a sustainable future in the world of s\u0259xtech (sexual technologies) in terms of cultivating living materials and creating speculative scenarios for second skins, eco-erotic haptic sensors, harnesses and kinky designs.
Learning new methods of fabrication of sensory interfaces and imagining how biotechnology and new materials will respond to erotic self-pleasures, opening a dialogue to reclaim society’s taboos and stigmas and explore sexuality through technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How can technology enhance our pleasure and help us explore and reclaim our sexual liberation?
What if we could create sensory skins using our bodily fluids?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the workshop you will learn how to grow algae-based biofabrics, experiment with sexual body fluids and circuits, and design haptic skins and e-textiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through bio-hacking practices and open source DIY technologies, you will hack your pleasure and create your own kinky wearable device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All materials and tools are included and no prior knowledge of electronics is required. If you already have experience and want to go further, you can bring your own arduino, sensors and laptop. We recommend bringing any extra gadgets or textiles you want to integrate into your design and your own sexual body fluids if you want to experiment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop will be held in English and spanish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
