Cum Home With Me (Workshop)

Workshop Saturday November 9th
Facilitated by: Matilde Flor Usinger
Workshop Theme: Objectification and Space

This workshop explores the concept of objectification in a performative and philosophical context. In social philosophy, objectification is the act of treating a person as an object or thing, often associated with dehumanization. However, in this workshop, we aim to shift this perspective by incorporating objectification into a performative process—transforming bodies into objects not only for the sake of performance but also for connection, play, and intimacy.
The core of the workshop is centered on using the body as an object, surrendering oneself to the space, and exploring how we interact with our environment. To conclude the workshop, participants will be invited to “build” their own home, where they can invite guests to see and interact with their space. The process will be a playful exploration of how we use our own presence and the presence of others to create intimate spaces.

Objectives
_ To explore objectification as a performative tool.
_ To create a new form of intimacy with space and others.
_ To reflect on how we invite others into our personal space and the meaning behind it.

Workshop Flow:
1 Hour: Warm-Up and Introduction
We will start by warming up our bodies and building a sense of comfort and trust among participants. This is essential for creating an open environment. After that, we’ll dive into three rounds of objectification exercises, where we will experiment with using the body as an object.

1.5 Hours: Objectification Rounds
Still Object: Participants will pose as inanimate objects.
Object with Repetitive Movement: Introduces a subtle, repetitive motion to the objectified form.
Multiple Objects: Adding more complexity with a series of movements and roles, encouraging collaboration.

45-Minute Break

2 Hours: “Inviting You Home”
In this session, participants will use their bodies to create a home environment. We'll consider the significance of space and the act of inviting someone into it. This part of the workshop emphasizes the connection between the physical space we create and the intimacy it fosters. Participants will explore how the space interacts with them, reflecting on the meaning of "home”.

1 Hour: cumming down
We will end the workshop with a reflective session, giving everyone space to share their thoughts and experiences. Participants will be invited to consider how they related to the space, their bodies, and the bodies of others. Let’s create and cum home together.

Activity open to those who investigate their sexuality regardless of the gender or identity of the people they will meet in the experience.
